MARION COUNTY TO REOPEN OFFICE BUILDINGS TO PUBLIC
Due to COVID-19 county offices have been closed to the public and other alternatives were used to conduct business. Beginning Monday, May 11, 2020, Marion County Courthouse, Court Annex, and Library will be open to the public. However, there will be mandatory procedures in place to comply with the COVID-19 guidelines.
Please follow some precautions as recommended by the CDC. DO NOT VISIT IF YOU HAVE SIGNS OR SYMPTOMS OF A RESPIRATORY INFECTION SUCH AS FEVER, COUGH, OR SORE THROAT. All HEALTHY VISITORS please: CLEAN your hands after arriving and before leaving. USE a tissue or your sleeve when you cough or sneeze. CLEAN your hands after coughing or sneezing.
LIBRARY: Hours are: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm. Must wear mask to enter building. Temperature will be taken upon entry. Patrons will sign their name on roster after answering the COVID-19 questionnaire. Only 5 people will be allowed in the building at one time. Patrons will be allowed 10 minutes to be in the building and must be 6 feet away from patrons and staff. One computer will be available for justified purposes only.
If rules cannot be followed, patron will be asked to leave.
The county library is open 9 a.m. to 5:30p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
