Absentee Voting - To receive an absentee ballot, you need to request to have an absentee ballot application sent to you by contacting your County Clerk in the county where you are registered to vote.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail or fax is Oct. 27, though a voter may pick up an absentee ballot until Nov. 2, the day before the election. (Recommended that a person not wait to long to place in mail so that it is received in a timely manner.)
Marion County Clerk's Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 870-449-6226.
