Marion County, Arkansas Information

Marion CountyArkansas government serves the communities of Yellville, Flippin, Bull Shoals, Pyatt, and Summit. Marion County was created in 1836 and named for Revolutionary War Gen. Francis Marion. Our county seat is Yellville and we have 597 square miles of mostly rural mountains and waterways. Bull Shoals Lake, in the northern part of the county, covers 34,000 acres. Other major waterways are the White River, the Buffalo National River and Crooked Creek. Our population is 16,664 and our major industries are tourism, boat building and other light industry.

Property owner/reporter will click on the link which gathers information about the property & owner, there will be a few questions about the damages, injuries that took place and any pictures that the owner/reporter would like to submit. This information is sent directly to the Marion County Office of Emergency Management. This flags OEM to send someone to assess the extent of damages in a timely manner.
